THE PRIMITIVES
From Coventry, England. Led by Tracy Tracy (Tracy Cattell)(vocals) and Paul "PJ" Court (guitar), fun pop rock on the level of Blondie. Their song "Crash" had an extra life on the charts seven years after it was a hit when it appeared in the movie "Dumb & Dumber" and became a hit again! Cattell was nativeborn to Australia before moving to England. Since the group has ended she has contributed to numerous dance singles for various dj's but has intentionally stayed low key and out of the spotlight. In 2010, the band returned for a short tour of England which may lead to some new recordings. 1987-92.
