From Seattle, Washington. Led by Chris Ballew (bass) with Dave Dederer (guitar) and Jason Finn (drums). The original five string band, Ballew uses only two strings on his bass while Dederer uses only three on his guitar. These guys have a great sense of humor but know when to stop the joke. The band also performs the version of Ian Hunter's "Cleveland Rocks" that opens "The Drew Carey Show" on television. After announcing a retirement in 1997, the band then continued to release new music under other names and eventually resurfaced as the Presidents by 2000. The members view the group as a continuing side project and have all formed other groups as well. 1994-present.
