THE POLECATS

From London. Led by Tim Polecat (Tim Worman)(vocals) with Martin "Boz" Boorer (guitar), Phillip Bloomberg (bass) and Neil Rooney (drums). A rockabilly band of long standing, their biggest hit came in 1983 with "Make A Circuit With Me". After the band ended, Tim joined with ex-members of The Rockats and The Stray Cats to form the ultimate rockabilly outfit, 13 Cats. Boorer became an in-demand guitarist and added strong guitar work to many albums by Adam Ant, Morrissey, Kirsty MacColl, Edwyn Collins, Joan Armatrading, Jools Holland and many others. The band split in 1984 but have been playing reunion shows since 1988. The band have planned a new album as of 2010! 1979-83/1989.
