No, not the man who formed the legendary Sun Records but instead, the former gospel singer Leslie Phillips! After several years and albums as a Christian singer, she decided that she wanted to expand her musical subject matter which resulted in a name change and an admirable new career. A maker of engaging pop and rock albums with a definite flair for the 60's sound, she has also proven to be a great songwriter! Sam was married for many years to musician/producer T-Bone Burnett whom she divorced in 2004. 1982-present.
