KELLY OSBOURNE
From London. Kelly began her career as a singer after the unexpected success of the reality television program "The Osbournes" which focused on the life of archaic metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne, his wife and brood. Supposedly the appeal of this cartoon-like program was the fact that Ozzy seems almost senile while his wife and kids have no particular direction in life other than to spend money. White trash taken to a new level of art. Kelly, at seventeen, found some success when she covered Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach" and went on to a store bought career as a "singer". However, Kelly's voice is ripe for the material that's been picked for her and punky fare such as "Shut Up" deserves to be a hit. A few years later her sound became decidedly new wave which was a major improvement. 2002-present.
