JOAN OSBORNE

From Louisville, Kentucky.  A regular of the same New York City scene that spawned Blues Traveler and the Spin Doctors.  Joan released two independent live discs before being signed by a major label. Her breakthrough hit "One Of Us" was penned by Eric Bazilian of The Hooters.   Joan's style has been changing to incorporate more of a world beat feel to her blues wailings and has since completed album in country and soul genres as well.  1991-present.
