JOAN OSBORNE

From Louisville, Kentucky. A regular of the same New York City scene that spawned Blues Traveler and the Spin Doctors. Joan released two independent live discs before being signed by a major label. Her breakthrough hit "One Of Us" was penned by Eric Bazilian of The Hooters. Joan's style has been changing to incorporate more of a world beat feel to her blues wailings and has since completed album in country and soul genres as well. 1991-present.
