THE OFFSPRING
From Orange County, California. Led by Dexter Holland (vocals/guitar) with Pete Parada (drums), Greg K. (Greg Kriesel)(bass) and Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman (guitar). This punk outfit has highs and lows musically, sometimes wandering too far into metal territory but when they get the formula right, it doesn't get any better than this! A very consistent sound throughout their career except for when they blatantly rip off someone else for fun, as they night have by stealing the hook from The Beatle's song "Ob La Di, Ob La Da" for their hit "Why Don't You Get A Job". When original drummer Ron Welty left the group, his replacement was Atom Willard who in turn left the group to join Angels & Airwaves. Willard was replaced on a full time basis by former Face To Face pounder Pete Parada. 1987-present.
