RIC OCASEK
From Baltimore, Maryland. The leader and co-vocalist of The Cars has been making solo albums since 1982 with each new release becoming less and less visible on the radio. His work with The Cars was vital, his solo work overlooked. With his great reputation though, he has become a very in-demand producer for artists like Weezer, Nada Surf and Bad Religion. His famous marriage to supermodel Paulina Porizkova and the family they've made has been his greatest post-Cars success. His 1997 album "Troublizing" was produced by Billy Corgan and features musicians from Nada Surf, Bad Religion, Hole and The Cars! 1982-present.
