MYRICK

Dallas,
Texas. Gary Myrick
(vocals/guitar)
and his group The Figures first had a minor new wave hit on Los Angeles
radio with "She Talks In Stereo".
Word spread which led to a later re-recording of the hit and
national
exposure. After The Figures split,
he formed Havana
3 A.M.
with former Clash bassist Paul Simonon.
They released one album before Simonon left but the band
continued on for
five years. Myrick originally
started his career working with a band called Kracker Jack where he was
the
replacement for Stevie Ray Vaughan! Recent
years have seen him contribute music to films and he has turned to a
more
acoustic sound. 1979-present.
