SHAWN MULLINS

 

 

From Atlanta, Georgia.  A Southern troubadour of sorts, his song "Lullaby" was one of those rare tunes that get played on every format on the radio.  This usually signals either mass acceptance or obscurity, and the latter seems to have occurred.  But he is no newcomer by any means with many independent releases under his belt.  While in 9th grade he met college girl Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls and through her, found inspiration to pursue a musical career!  After dropping his long haired image, a restyled and modern looking Mullins came back strong with his project The Thorns, a group that includes Pete Droge and Matthew Sweet.  1990-present.
