THE MOTORS
From London. Led by Nick Garvey (vocals/guitar) with Andy McMasters (bass), Bram Tchaikovsky (Peter Bramall)(guitar) and Ricky Wernham (drums). A pub rock mutation into new wave, both McMasters and Garvey were in Ducks Deluxe previously. Tchaikovsky would leave the band to go solo after the second release. Their sound was a little like a new wave version of The Electric Light Orchestra. 1977-80.
