MODERN ENGLISH
From Colchester, England. Led by Robbie Grey (vocals) with Steven Walker (guitar), Ian Robbins (bass), Matthew Shipley (keyboards) and Brian Fincham (drums). Art influenced music that produced the classic "I'll Melt With You" and some smaller hits as well. The band made a comeback attempt with a revamped version of the classic in 1990. In 1996 the song was used in a Burger King ad campaign and the resultant payoff financed an entire US tour for them! 1979-90/1995-present.
