THE MODELS
From Melbourne, Australia. Led by Sean Kelly (vocals/guitar) and James Freud (Colin McGlinchey) (vocals/bass) with Roger Mason (keyboards), James Valentine (saxophone) and Barton Price (drums). One or two hits stateside in the mid-80's but pretty big in their homeland! One of the best known synthpop bands from Australia. Kelly later formed the bands Absent Friends and The Dukes. Freud wrote his memoirs on the whole experience in 2002. 1979-87.
