THE MIGHTY LEMON DROPS
From Wolverhampton, England. Led by Dave Newton (guitar) with Paul Marsh (vocals), Marcus Williams (bass) and Keith Rowley (drums). This band began life as The Sherbet Monsters, their brand of guitar pop driven by Newton's distinctive talents. He had previously played in The Wild Flowers and had a nice seven year ride with this band before leaving. He has since played with The Blue Aeroplanes and formed a Los Angeles based band called Revolux. Later joining the L.A. band Fonda for three albums, Newton landed a job as music editor for the television program "Buffy The Vampire Slayer”. 1986-93.
