BUTCH WALKER

From Atlanta, Georgia. Led by Bradley "Butch" Walker (vocals/guitar) with Jayce Fincher (bass) and Mitch "Slug" McLee (drums). Spirited punk and power pop that harkens back to the glory days of the early 80's! Butch's crazed look brings to mind a young Dennis Hopper, and apparently after a taste of success, solo sirens beckoned. Fincher left the group and Walker called it a day. Walker, a music veteran, had released two albums with the group SouthGang in the early 1990's before finding success with the Marvelous 3. Walker released his first solo disc in 2002 after ending the band and has since become a prolific producer and songwriter logging in hits for Pink, Avril Lavigne, Bowling For Soup, Pete Yorn, Weezer and a dozen others! 2008 saw the release of 1969's "Maya" a new group effort that he may or may not stick with. 1997-2001.
