LET'S ACTIVE
From Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Led by Mitch Easter (vocals/guitar) with Faye Hunter (bass) and Sara Romweber (drums). The former leader of The Sneakers, Easter has built his reputation more as a producer than a performer. His brand of smart power pop is very engaging. Easter's reputation as a producer is known around the world, having co-produced R.E.M.'s first album and some of Pavement's best work. Today he continues to work as a producer and has formed a new band called The Fiendish Minstrels, also playing out with his wife's band Shalini. 1983-88.
