LATOUR
From Chicago, Illinois. William "Bud" LaTour was originally a production director at a radio station in the Northwest U.S. He first tasted fame in 1986 when Falco's "Rock Me Amadeus" became a pop staple. His partner at the time (Mike Elliot) and he, created the parody tune "Rock Me Jerry Lewis". Five years later, his techno stylings were good enough to secure him a recording contract on his own. The song "Blue" figures prominently in the movie "Basic Instinct" during a club scene where Sharon Stone seductively dances for Michael Douglas. After two albums, Bud put his techno project to rest, becoming bored with the beat, he formed the band Muzloh which released one album in 1997. In 2004, LaTour returned with a new album and a new commitment to his dance muse. 1986/1991-95/2004-present.
