SHONA LAING
From New Zealand. Shona was a member of the late 80's version of Manfred Mann's Earth Band. A star in the land down under since 1972 when she was picked the winner on an Australian television talent show. She had some brief success in the U.S. but the country was not quite ready for her yet. Maybe now that women singer/songwriters are receiving more attention, she may yet make an impression on the world. 1972-present.
