LONE JUSTICE
From California. Led by Maria McKee (vocals/guitar) with Marvin Etzioni (bass), Ryan Hedgecock (guitar) and Don Heffington (drums). This band was definitely one of those acts that were termed the "next big thing". Traditional rock support from top artists and producers (Linda Ronstadt, Tom Petty, Jimmy Iovine) got them signed and delivered to the public but the public didn't eat the hype and the band split apart after only one album. McKee continued on with the name for a second album with different members, then headed off for a solo career. McKee is the half-sister of legendary Love guitarist Bryan MacLean. 1984-86.
