THE LIGHTNING SEEDS
From Liverpool, England. The pet project of singer/songwriter/ and well known producer Ian Broudie (vocals/guitar) with a revolving cast of players. Best known for his production genius that guided hits for The Fall, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Wild Swans and many more. An original member of Liverpool's Big In Japan which started the careers of members of The KLF and Frankie Goes To Hollywood! The band name "Lightning Seeds" comes from a song by Prince that Ian heard but got the lyrics wrong! 2004 saw the release of Broudie's first proper solo album and the ultimate demise of the group. 1989-99.
