JONA LEWIE
From England. John Lewis aka Jona Lewie is a British blues artist who moved into the curious Stiff records family to record the even more curious "...Kitchen At Parties". Best known for the 1980 hit "Stop The Cavalry" which made it to number three in the U.K. charts and has since become a Christmas classic there. His recording career as a band member began as early as 1966. Lewie dropped out of public sight and has not been seen in the music industry for over 20 years. 1975-83.
