KISSING THE PINK

From London.  Led by Nick Whitecross (vocals) with John Kingsley Hall (keyboards), Simon Aldridge (guitar) and Stephen Cusack (drums).  A new wave dance band, although reaching their height of popularity in Europe they never really drew much attention in the UK.  By the time of their only American hit ("Certain Things Are Likely"), their original sound had been drastically altered in search of a hit.  Some members still continue to work together today, Hall and Whitecross have both released trance inspired solo albums.  Testing the waters by guesting on a 2Xpress release, the group plan a full album release for a brand new KTP album in 2010, the first in 17 years.  The sound however will be strictly contemporary dance music, house and trance influenced with no ghost of their new wave past.  1981-93/2010-present.
