KIDS IN THE KITCHEN
From Melbourne, Australia. Led by Scott Carne (vocals) with Claude Carranza (guitar), Craig Harnath (bass), Alistair Coia (keyboards) and Bruce Curnow (drums). Lost somewhere in that middle ground of bands that included Mr. Mister and their ilk, these kids were notable for a prime example of the M-TV ballad that fit in nicely between the synth-heavy 80's and the metal power ballad. Long forgotten but still noted for their one international hit "Current Stand". After the group split in 1988, Carne formed Priscilla's Nightmare for one album and then began a formal solo career. 1983-87.
