MARTI JONES
From Canton, Ohio. The former lead singer of North Carolina's Color Me Gone. Marti is a bit of a new wave chanteuse, reinterpreting the work of some of the last few decade's finest artists and overlooked singles while crafting new songs as well with a modern folk spin. Often described as being "criminally overlooked" in the world of music, she is in fact an innovator that has been found by true lovers of music everywhere. She also contributes some of her own songs often co-written with her husband, musician and producer Don Dixon. Marti has now turned her focus away from music, for the time being, and focuses exclusively on painting. 1984-present.
