JACK JOHNSON
From Oahu, Hawaii. A former professional surfer, Johnson flipped careers into music after dabbling with film making. His two surfing films; "Thicker Than Water" and "September Sessions" featured soundtracks by Jack and his friends and won several awards. His first notable appearance was on the hit "Rodeo Clowns" by G. Love & Special Sauce which Johnson wrote, but caught notice as a solo with the pro-environment ditty "The Horizon has Been Defeated". 2000-present.
