GARLAND JEFFREYS
From Brooklyn, New York. Originally the leader of Grinder's Switch, which had John Cale as a member on bass. Garland's music has given him some notoriety over the years, addressing racial issues to a great extent. Fueling his work through his racial heritage (part black, white and hispanic), music came to play a large part in his life, possibly fueled by a college friendship with Lou Reed. 1970-present.
