From London. Led by Jason "J." Kaye (vocals) with Stuart Zender (bass), Toby Graffety Smith (keyboards), Derrick McKenzie (drums), Wallis Buchanan (digeridoo), Simon Katz (guitar), Sola Akingbola (percussion), Adrian Revell (flute/saxophone), Martin Shaw (trumpet), Winston Rollins (trombone) and Darren "DJ D-Zine" Galea (turntables). Starting with a jungle sound, this new version of white British soul sounds closer to some soulful Motown and old funk than anything alternative. However, they still managed to break onto alternative radio with the heavily jazz and Stevie Wonder influenced "Virtual Insanity". 1992-present.
