THE INNOCENCE MISSION

From Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  Led by Keren Peris (vocals/guitar/keyboards) with Don Peris (guitar), Mike Bitts (bass) and Steve Brown (drums).  The band has a jangle guitar sound reminiscent of 10,000 Maniacs.  This isn't something that escaped the attentions of Natalie Merchant who invited Don and Keren to play on her album "Ophelia".  The music often has low key Christian messages as well.  Overall, an acoustic sound that also resembles The Sundays.  Brown left the band to open a restaurant.  1986-present.
