THE INMATES
From London, England. Led by Bill Hurley (vocals) with Peter "Gunn" Staines (guitar), Tony Oliver (guitar), Ben Donnelly (bass) and Eddie Edwards (drums). Typical British pub rock band hits it big in the States for one single, a cover of the 60's hit by The Standells, "Dirty Water". Hurley left for a solo career in 1982 and was replaced by Barrie Masters of Eddie & The Hot Rods for three years! 1979-present.
