IMPERIAL DRAG
From Los Angeles. Led by former Jellyfish members Roger Manning (keyboards) and Eric Dover (vocals/guitar) with Joseph Karnes (bass) and Eric Skodis (drums). Formed after Manning decided he wanted to pursue different musical styles than the rest of Jellyfish were willing to try. Manning also has a cheesy side project called The Moog Cookbook where he deconstructs popular alternative songs into elevator fluff. Imperial Drag unfortunately folded after one album which is a shame because they brought back a glam sound to alternative radio that had been missing for years. 1996.
