HUMAN SEXUAL RESPONSE
From Boston, Massachusetts. Led by Larry Bangor (vocals) with Casey Cameron (vocals), Rich Gilbert (guitar), Chris Maclachlan (bass) and Malcom Travis (drums). Notorious in their hometown, the group produced a few minor new wave classics. Their notoriety was born from a live local TV appearance where they performed the song "Buttf**k" with full uncensored lyrics without telling the show producers ahead of time. The band broke up under the HSR name in 1982 but continued on without Cameron as The Zulus. The Zulus lasted for two albums as well. Drummer Travis then became a member of Bob Mould's power trio; Sugar. Human Sexual Response has reunited for Halloween shows over the years, one as recently as 2008. 1980-81.
