THE HUMAN LEAGUE
From Sheffield, England. Led by Phil Oakey (vocals/keyboards) with Susan Sulley (vocals) and Joanne Catherall (vocals). At their height of popularity, the band also featured Jo Callis (guitar), a former member of The Rezillos. This band was originally made up of Oakey and several other members who quit to form Heaven 17. Only after Oakey reassembled the band with a new line-up did they find great success. 1978-present.
