HUFFAMOOSE
From Manayunk, Pennsylvania. Led by Craig Elkins (vocals/guitar) with Kevin Hanson (guitar), Erik Johnson (drums) and Jim Stager (bass). The band had the interesting opportunity of being the only unsigned band to play at Woodstock '94. After being dropped by the major labels they released another cd plus an album of early demos, rebounded with the use of their early song "I Wanna Buy You A Ring" in a JC Penney advertisement and became the subject of a full length documentary on the ups and downs of the music industry. The band also released a side album as the Kevin Hanson Trio (without Elkins) before formally releasing another Huffamoose album. 1994-present.
