HOLLY & THE ITALIANS
HOLLY BETH VINCENT

From Los Angeles and then London, England. Led by Holly Beth Vincent (vocals/guitar) from Chicago, with Mark Henry (bass) and Steve Young (drums). Two albums and a great single of "I Got You Babe" with Joey Ramone. An often overlooked band of the new wave, Holly's "Tell That Girl To Shut Up" was a minor hit made bigger when covered by Transvision Vamp. After the group's demise, Holly joined The Waitresses briefly, led the group The Oblivious, and joined with Concrete Blonde's Johnette Napolitano as Vowel Movement. 1981-present.
