From Beckenham, England. After leaving Haircut 100, Heyward embarked on a spotty solo career that skimmed the surface of new wave, drifted into pop and then settled into an alternative folk sound. Most notable for the fact that no matter how long it takes him to make a new album, the results are always worthwhile if not chart worthy. 1983-present.
