(HED) PLANET EARTH
From Huntington Beach, California. Led by Jahred Shane aka M.C.U.D. (vocals) with Wesstyle (Wes Geer)(guitar), Chizad (Chad Benekos)(guitar), Mawk (Mark Young)(bass) and B.C. Vaught (drums). Typical late 90's rock and rap, another combo specializing in the fusion of rap-metal and hip-hop. When the rap rock scene died, the band had a hard time getting themselves released from their record label which resulted in the parting of the guitarists and drummer from the group. Shane recruited new members as the band switched to independent labels for future releases and added on; Jaxon (Jackson Benge)(guitar), Tiny Bubz (Anthony Biuso)(drums) and DJ Product (Doug Boyce)(turntables). The group originally called themselves Hed, had a legal fight over the name, added Planet Earth and finally shortened their name to the cryptic (Hed) PE. 1995-present.
