MURRAY HEAD
From England. An actor and stage performer, Head appeared as an original cast member of "Jesus Christ Superstar", originating the role of Judas. Later appearing in "Tommy" and then on the soundtrack album to the stage play "Chess", a collaboration between the male members of ABBA and producer Tim Rice. His reading of "One Night In Bangkok" became an international dance hit. Head's oddball delivery recalls a snide punk attitude layered on top of a pop song. This was his only major international hit as a singer and he continues to work in theatre and film. Head's musical career includes over a dozen albums released since 1973. 1986.
