KAY HANLEY
From Boston, Massachusetts. The voice of Letters To Cleo, Hanley has lent her talents to many local Boston stage productions and sporadic contributions to other recording projects since the demise of her band. It seems like she has the capability and the voice to resume the momentum that started her and placed her side by side with similar sounding artists such as Juliana Hatfield and Tanya Donnely. Settling into motherhood and a marriage (with ex-Letters To Cleo guitarist Michael Eisenstein), Hanley uprooted herself and moved to Los Angeles which resulted in her being cast as the singing voice of Josie in the Josie & The Pussycats movie. Still yet to break as a solo artist, Hanley will undoubtedly eventually find her niche. In 2007, she appeared on the Care Bears float, singing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. In 2008, Hanley performed as a back-up singer/guitarist and musical director for the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana tour. 2002-present.
