TERRY HALL
From
Coventry, England. The former lead singer of The Specials, The
Colourfield
and The Fun Boy Three. Hall has had a long career as a front man and is
a worthy
interpreter of many styles. When The Specials reformed to take
advantage of the
ska resurgence, Hall was asked to come back but declined. He has
recorded
with Dave Stewart of Eurythmics as "Vegas" and in the trio "Anouchka,
Terry & Blair" to limited success then devoted much time to
songwriting, supplying hits for The Lightning Seeds and Tricky.
His latest
efforts include a duo album with world music artist Mushtaq, and
recording and performing with the Dub Pistols. In 2008, Hall
reunited with most of The Specials for a live performance!
