GUSTER
From Medford, Massachusetts. Led by Adam Gardner (vocals/guitar) and Ryan Miller (guitar) with Brian Rosenworcel (bongos/percussion). This unusual trio plays acoustic roots style music in the same way that Violent Femmes got their start. In the contemporary times of downloading music from the internet, Guster made a preemptive strike and placed large numbers of songs from their 2003 album "Keep It Together" on the normal trading channels. The music was indeed from the album but the vocals were mostly Adam meowing like a cat over them! A few years later, these versions are now being sold next to the normal songs on many pay download services! 1994-present.
