GREEN ON RED
From San Francisco, California. A blend of cowpunk and psychedelia, their work predates most of today's alternative country or "no depression" rock. A duo of Dan Stuart (vocals/guitar) and Chuck Prophet (vocals/guitar). Prophet continues a solo career as did Stuart, both releasing solo cd's. Stuart has since retired completely from the music business and is trying his hand at screenwriting instead. 1981-90.
