GOOD CHARLOTTE
From Waldorf, Maryland. Led by twin brothers Joel Madden (vocals) and Benji Madden (guitar) with Billy Martin (guitar), Paul Thomas (bass) and Chris Wilson (drums). Pop punk in the typical 90's style, the band was created after the Maddens witnessed a Beastie Boys concert and became inspired. Prior to the release of the second album, drummer Aaron Escalopio left the band to join his brother's group, Wakefield. Joel meanwhile began to date actress/singer Hilary Duff and added to her hipness factor while his became less credible. 2000-present.
