THE GODFATHERS
From London. Led by brothers Chris Coyne (bass) and Peter Coyne (vocals) with Kris Dollimore (guitar), Mike Gibson (guitar), and George Mazur (drums). Hard guitar with R&B influences mixed in, the band stood out when they made their debut and provided a harder alternative sound years before it came in vogue. Original guitarist Kris Dollimore left to join Del Amitri and the band continued with veried players all the way until 2000. Peter Coyne reunited with Dollimore and also The Damned's Rat Scabies to form The Germans in 2003. 1986-1995.
