FUN BOY THREE
From Coventry, England. Rising from a split with The Specials, this is a trio led by Terry Hall (vocals) with Lynval Golding (vocals/guitar) and Neville Staple (vocals). Here the three vocalists do their thing over tribal beats instead of ska rhythms. To their credit, they did manage to launch the career of Bananarama! Staple and Golding are now part of a new line-up of The Specials while Hall continues on as a solo act. 1981-83.
