FUEL

From Kenton, Tennessee, now based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  Led by Brett Scallions (vocals/guitar) with Carl Bell (guitar), Jeff Abercrombie (bass) and Kevin Miller (drums).  Post-grunge hard rock.  One of many bands that found a home on alternative rock radio in an era when no one could define what alternative rock was supposed to be anymore.  Very good at what they do, just not very alternative.  The band announced the departure of singer Brett Scallions in February of 2006 and their intentions to carry on without him.   It's rare that a band can continue on to something better with a new singer but it does happen from time to time.  Keeping your name out there helps and the band did so by trying to enlist Chris Daughtry, a former American Idol contestant.  Daughtry however rejected the offer, to form his own band that now bears his name.  2007 brought the news that the band had finally chosen a new singer named Toryn Green.  The band's new drummer is former Godsmack drummer Tommy Stewart.  1994-present.
