THE FLYS
From Los Angeles. Led by brothers Josh Paskowitz (vocals) and Adam Paskowitz (vocals) with Peter Perdischizzi (guitar), James Book (bass) and Nick Lucero (drums). They consider themselves to be a metal band, their sound is very typical of today's grunge rock. Adam is a pro surfer from a family of pro surfers! The Paskowitz brothers are part of a family of nine children who never attended school. They kid around in interviews about how they have no training to do any useful job and they mean it! Adam however did have some pedigree, he had already released three albums with his previous band, the hair metal band "Mozart". He now leads the "opera metal" band Jetliner. Concurrently he leads a group called The Millionaires which specializes in Sinatra style crooner music of the 40's and 50's. 1998-2000.
