THE FLYING LIZARDS

From London.  Irish born David Cunningham (keyboards/guitar) was the creator and driving force of this band using studio musicians and vocalists to realize his vision.  He gave a startlingly fresh, minimalist approach to old numbers like "Money" and "Summertime Blues".  Cunningham has since embarked on many projects including film music and performance art.  The Flying Lizards never had a single vocalist but used many available voices including the mysterious "Deborah Lizard" (Deborah Evans-Stickland) who was on the single version of "Money" and is now a psychotherapist.   Viv Goldman, a journalist and vocalist who has been heard as recently as 1994 on the Massive Attack album "Protection", and Sally Peterson who was featured on the "Top Ten" album.  1976-present.
