THE FLESHTONES
From Queens, New York. Led by Peter Zaremba (vocals/harmonica) with Keith Streng (guitar), Ken Fox bass) and Bill Milhizer (drums). The band formed in 1976 and along with The Cramps, are one of the few remaining bands from the original New York City punk scene that have not taken a break or reformed to cash in on punk nostalgia. The band's brand of garage punk is timeless and their live performance today has just as much energy today as when they started. A must see! Zaremba has had a side project called The Love Delegation while Streng teamed with R.E.M.'s Peter Buck to form The Full Time Men. The band's rhythm section has changed over the years, sometimes including past members of The Dictators and Television as well. 1978-present.
