FINE YOUNG CANNIBALS
From Birmingham, England. Led by former English Beat members Andy Cox (guitar) and David Steele (bass) with Roland Gift (vocals). Closer to modern R&B than modern rock, this band features Gift's unique voice. Gift is also an actor and has sidetracked the band with his acting demands. Without Gift, the duo have released music as Two Men, A Drum Machine And A Trumpet and scored a hit with "Tired Of Getting Pushed Around". The group pretty much ended around 1993 but regrouped in 1996 for a few new songs for their greatest hits cd. Gift finally released a solo album in 2002. 1985-93/1996.
