FIGURES ON A BEACH
From Detroit, Michigan. The band later relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. Led by Anthony Kaczynski (vocals/keyboards) with Christopher Ewen (keyboards), John Rolski (guitar), Perry Tell (guitar/bass) and Michael Smith (drums). One of the catchier American dance acts of the new wave era, they were aided mightily by the production prowess of Ivan Ivan on both their albums. After the band's demise, Kaczynski and Smith formed the harder rocking Fireking. 1983-89.
